This is the first 2016 entry into this prestigious award for Cavs fans, but I have a feeling it won’t be the last. There’s no telling how many Heat fans magically converted back to Cavaliers fans once LeBron left sunny Miami for the
bleak, boring, desolate less sunny Cleveland, but one thing that’s for certain is that the LeBron bandwagon is still full steam ahead in 2016.
Man, this is so cringeworthy. New Mexico came in hot with the surprise LeBron votes, but seeing as they probably didn’t cry and smash half of their belongings when LeBron left Cleveland for Miami, I’ll chalk their decision up to a mere difference in opinion. As for those in Ohio, you don’t always have to win Cavs fans, just ask LeBron; between his 4 NBA Finals losses and his elusive hairline he’s got plenty of losing stories to tell.
Steph Curry is dominating the league, leading his team on a run to possibly the best record in NBA history, and making moves on the court that would make the Harlem Globetrotters jealous. Kids want to be him, other players want to emulate him, married women want to fuck him. That’s what it takes to be the face of the NBA, and right now that person is Steph Curry.
Meanwhile in Cleveland…
